I finished this sweater during finals week, and the Elizabeth Zimmerman quote "knit on, with confidence and hope, through all crises" kept coming to mind. I know, an exam isn't exactly a crisis but it sure starts to feel like one when you spend the entire day knitting instead of studying!! Good news though, I passed my exams AND I have a new sweater. Win, win. EZ was right.
This is my first adult sized sweater. I used the EZ Seamless Yoke pattern from Knitting Without Tears. I debated adding some color-work to the yoke but couldn't decide on a color that complimented my "blackberry" wool. I think a dark gray or even black may have been nice, but I wimped out. Next time. And there will definitely be a next time for this pattern. I couldn't be happier with the fit, except some slight puckering at the yoke (more about that and other knitting details on my Ravelry page).
If you have any tips for mastering the yoke decreases, without puckers, I'd love to hear them.
